Your Pathway to Germany

Your application for the nursing program begins with registration through this page. After that, we will contact you personally to follow up on your application. We usually respond within 48 hours.

After registering, we will ask you to submit certain documents such as your CV and nursing diploma to verify your qualifications. You will then be invited to a group discussion with other nurses and to a one-on-one interview, each lasting approximately 20 minutes. The entire evaluation and selection process typically takes one week but may take up to three weeks if any documents are missing.

The nursing program begins with German language courses. We will schedule your online classes based on your availability. The German embassy requires a minimum B1 level to issue a work visa. You will also participate in cultural workshops to help you get familiar with life in Germany before your arrival. Additionally, we will prepare you for your interview with the hospital. Due to current conditions, all interviews are conducted online. An Educaro consultant will join the interview to translate. You will typically have your first interview with a German hospital within 6 to 10 weeks of starting the program.

Once you successfully pass your hospital interview, the hospital will send you a permanent employment contract. We will explain all the contract terms to you, and if you agree, you will sign the contract. The contract is signed directly with the hospital in Germany. You will usually receive your contract around 6 to 12 weeks after starting the program.

After you:

  • Sign the contract with the hospital in Germany

  • Pass the official B1 German language exam

  • Submit all required documents for recognition and administrative procedures

…we can schedule your appointment at the German embassy to apply for your work visa.

Throughout the entire process, an Educaro advisor will be by your side.

We will then plan your arrival in Germany. We cover the cost of your flight, arrange your accommodation, and support your official registration in Germany. In addition, we organize community events so you can make new friends and connect with other caregivers in Germany.

It typically takes 12 months (up to 15 months) from signing your employment contract to migrating to Germany.

Once you arrive in Germany, Educaro’s Community Manager will meet you at the airport and accompany you to your new city. After moving into your new accommodation, they will help you get settled in your room.

In the first few days, the Community Manager will support you with all necessary steps. You won’t have to handle administrative tasks and registrations on your own.

If possible, a city tour will be arranged to help you get to know and feel more comfortable in your new home.
Welcome days will also be organized at your hospital before you begin work, giving you a chance to explore your new workplace and meet your colleagues.

Additionally, preparation courses for language and knowledge exams will begin. During the entire recognition phase—until you receive your professional license—you will stay in regular contact with your Community Manager, who will be available to answer your questions at any time. We are by your side every step of the way until all milestones are achieved.

The full recognition process usually takes 6 to 8 months. If you do not pass on your first attempt, the process can take up to 13 months.
